Just as major tech leaders are opening offices in Washington to take advantage of the local talent and expertise, aerospace supply chain companies are increasingly seeking space to expand operations in the epicenter of aerospace innovation. Heroux-Devtek, a Canadian company, will be opening a landing gear assembly plant in Everett. This follows the recent announcement of British aerospace supplier GKN’s plans to establish a 777X winglet final assembly facility here as well.
There are more than 1,350 aerospace companies in Washington State that are the end-to-end supply chain for the latest innovation in aerospace design and production. These companies are tapping into the wealth of expertise, years of experience and creative thinking of the highest concentration of aerospace talent in the country.
